Product Overview
The ABB ZINT-7B1C+N8205 is a factory-tested upgrade kit that combines the latest ZINT-7B1C arc-flash relay with the N8205 high-sensitivity light and current sensor module. Designed for retrofit or new-build medium-voltage (≤ 40.5 kV) metal-clad and air-insulated switchgear, this plug-and-play solution detects arcing faults in < 2 ms and trips the upstream breaker to minimize equipment damage and personnel risk.

– Selective zone tripping with configurable I/O (trip, alarm, lockout)

– Wide power supply 24–250 V AC/DC, dual hot-standby inputs

– Combined point light sensor (1.5 ms response) and split-core CT (5 A secondary)
