1. Product Overview
UNITRONIC® LI2YCY-PiMF is a shielded cable designed by LAPP in Germany for low-frequency, high-fidelity data transmission. Each pair of cores utilizes a separate shield (Pair in Metal Foil, PiMF) consisting of aluminum foil and a drain wire, plus an overall tinned copper braided shield. This effectively suppresses near-end crosstalk (NEXT) and external electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring signal integrity. Low-capacitance PE insulation enables longer transmission distances and minimizes signal attenuation, making it ideal for environments with high electromagnetic interference, such as industrial plants, building automation, weighing systems, and inverter signal links.
